The Determiner

A determiner is a word that comes before a noun and limits its meaning.  They include:
  • Articles (a, an, the)
  • Demonstrative Adjectives (this, that, these, those)
  • Possessive Adjectives (my, our, your, his, her, its, their)
  • Adjectives of Quantity and Number (some, any, much, many, all, both, few, little, each, every, either, neither, one, two, first, second etc.)
